Property and Cancellation Policies


Cancellation & Refund Policy
Because we are a small property with limited availability, cancellations have a significant impact on our operations.
We kindly ask you to carefully review our refund policy before booking.
For standard room reservations, cancellations made at least 72 hours (3 days) before the scheduled arrival date are eligible for a full refund minus a $25 processing fee.
Cancellations made less than 72 hours before arrival are non-refundable.
For exclusive packages (including "The 2nd Floor") and group bookings, cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to arrival to receive a refund, minus a $50 processing fee. These bookings are non-refundable within 7 days of check-in.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to process


No-Shows: Will be charged 100% of the reservation total.

Guest Policy Guide  
Thank you for choosing The Dansereau House. As a small, boutique bed and breakfast, we strive to provide a unique, relaxing, and personalized experience.
To ensure the comfort, safety, and satisfaction of all our guests, please review the following policies carefully. 


Deposit Policy
  
A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to hold your reservation. 
All reservations require payment in full at the time of booking. This 100% deposit confirms your reservation and guarantees your room.
For group bookings or special event reservations, alternate payment and cancellation terms may apply and will be communicated at the time of booking.

 
Arrival & Departure
 Check-In: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Please let us know if you anticipate arriving outside of this window so we can try to accommodate you.
Early check-in may be available for a fee, subject to room readiness and availability.
Check-Out:
 11:00 AM
Late check-out is $50 per hour and must be pre-approved. Unapproved late departures may result in an additional night’s charge.

Terms & Conditions
Smoking/Vaping: Prohibited inside all guest rooms and indoor spaces. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available. A $250 cleaning fee will apply for violations.
Pets:  
Must be under 40lbs, fully vaccinated (Rabies, Bordetella, DHPP), and current on flea/tick prevention. Must be housebroken, non-aggressive, and quiet.
Pet fee must be added on at time of booking. Pets must not be left unattended in rooms unless crated and must not enter common areas unsupervised.
Damage or excessive mess may result in additional cleaning or replacement fees.
Lost Keys:
 A $100 replacement fee applies for lost or unreturned keys.
Unregistered Guests: For security and guest privacy, no unregistered guests are allowed on the property without prior management approval.
Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM. Please respect fellow guests’ rest.
Children: We welcome families, but please note: Children must be supervised at all times. Due to the historic nature of the house and furnishings, guests are responsible for any damage caused.
Housekeeping: Daily housekeeping is available by request only. Linens and towels are refreshed upon request for environmental consideration.
Damage & Excessive Cleaning:
 Guests will be responsible for any damage, missing items, or rooms left in excessively unclean condition beyond normal use.
Parking:
 Complimentary on-site parking is available in the back of the house. The Dansereau House is not responsible for damage or theft to vehicles or personal belongings.
Accessibility: Please note that, due to the historic nature of the property, wheelchair accessibility is limited. Contact us directly to discuss accommodations prior to booking.

Confirmation Policy Reservations are only confirmed when secured with a valid credit card and, when applicable, full payment or deposit.
Pending or incomplete bookings may be released without notice.
